Mark HOffman, Ph.D., FNAI

Mark has decades of experience in digital health, informatics and innovation. As a Vice President for a major electronic health record vendor he led a team of more than 140 professionals and was involved in acquiring IP from digital health startups. He is an inventor on 25 issued patents and is a Fellow in the National Academy of Inventors. After returning to his academic roots, he has received federal grant support from the CDC, NIH, PCORI, AHRQ and HRSA. All three medical schools in the Kansas City area have provided him with appointments as professor (courtesy/adjunct). He has reviewed more than 40 SBIR proposals for the NIH. and has served on other NIH review panels.
